25 Years, $250,000 from Mini Grant to Innovation Grants

Beginning over 25 years ago, the REF offered teachers an opportunity to apply for mini grants to enhance their teaching. Five years ago, the grant program was renamed to inspire teachers and other school staff to think outside the box and innovate in their classrooms. The Innovation Grant program has resulted in REF funding many inspiring grant proposals and the acquisition of a wide range of resources that have benefited the students in Robbinsville’s classrooms!
About the Program
This program encourages teachers to try new things and request the supplies needed to optimize instruction in their classes. Teachers love the ability to innovate and bring new instructional ideas and supplies to their students, through mini-grants, such as Luner New Year Dragons. Moving forward, these grants will be called “Innovation Grants”. (This is a sampling of mini grants. It is not a complete list.)
